Translation of titles
[edit]Most German titles do not change to English in the Wikipedia unless the work is translated. The TV series Der Kriminalist retains that title in the English Wikipedia and does not become The Detective. I just changed three redink links to blue, by using the actual titles instead of an English translation. I'm sure that more of the redink could disappear if someone bothers to check the links. --Bejnar (talk) 05:59, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
Miss East Germany 2004?
[edit]How can she be miss East Germany 2004 when the DDR reunited with West Germany in 1990? Are there still beauty pageants solely for contestants from the former DDR Bundesländer? Axeman (talk) 05:47, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
Answer: "East Germany" is the countries Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Brandenburg, Thürigen, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt and the City of Berlin as a whole or just the former DDR plus West-Berlin. In polls, pageants east and west are still differentiated because the division of Germany left large gaps in culture, opinion and national character. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.5.180.42 (talk • contribs) 10:22, 25 September 2013 (UTC)

Edits of this date
[edit]Today, after being referred here by a nephew, asking why was this person noteworthy, I made the sections more standard to biography, removed all dead wikilinks (red tags), and removed subsectns for the 1-2 sentence subsections. I also clarified that the appearance of the title subject's webpage at one point in the article does not elevate it from being unsourced. (The web page already appeared in external links, so was removed, as an invalid, self-published source.)
In short, there is not one single statement in the infobox, lede, or article that is sourced, and this has been the case since the 2012 tags were placed, and so these dates were kept with the current tags. If it is technically impossible to swap the tags keeping the original date, please return the earlier 2012 tag, and add the 2017 unsourced tags (so the historical nature of the gross issues is not lost).
Finally, I posted a tag saying that the article requires attention for the presence of potentially defamatory or libelous statements that lack any sourcing whatsoever. By these I mean all the sentences that state that she was involved in pornographic ventures, without stating sources.
In closing, I suggest that the article be reduced to a stub. There is nothing here, encyclopedically. It is so much garbage.

Image
[edit]Can we discuss which image should be used as the lead image and what is the most suitable size? Setting the image manually to 270px produces an image that is too big and which overpowers the entire articile. Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 12:59, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
- I've reverted to the existing image, which IMO is clearly higher quality. Anyone wanting to change it should get consensus before changing it away from the status quo (WP:BRD). —Granger (talk · contribs) 13:29, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
- I agree. A default image size also seems to be quite appropriate. Martinevans123 (talk) 13:39, 13 January 2018 (UTC)

@Martinevans123:, @Mx. Granger: Looks like the image was changed again, I've reverted. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 22:45, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
