Incredibly overwritten

This article needs a lot of work. I am making a first pass at bringing it into proper Wikipedia style, but it will still need a lot of work when I am finished. It relies almost solely on self-published documentation and is written in a prose often found in old, historical books written by citizen historians. I ask for assistance in editing this article from any experienced editor who has no attachment to the subject. God bless and happy editing.
