When creating the article, I of course had a look at Legión de Honor Mexicana. However, there are important errors of fact there, notably in the lead which characterizes the Legion as a military reserve unit which can be called up into active duty, rather than as an order of merit, which is what it is. Accordingly, you will find no attribution statement here, nor in the edit summary, because this article was created from scratch from official sources, and not from anything in the Spanish article.
In addition, I would advise anyone adding to this article that if you decide to consult the Spanish article, to be sure to check independent sources for confirmation.
