Semi-protection
[edit]Due to the fact that there's far too much vandalism done to this page by IPs, I have requested protection for it. Do other editors feel the same way? Or does anybody disagree with me? Caden S (talk) 22:58, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- Totally agree. I requested protection about months ago, they denied (frustrating), but it has gotten even worse now. kiac (talk) 06:59, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
- It's far worse now than before. I'm still waiting to hear back if it will be protected or not. Caden S (talk) 08:08, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
- Just out of curiousity, where did you request it? It's not in here: WP:RFP, which is where it should be. kiac (talk) 13:05, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
- Crap, sorry about that Kiac. I didn't know that was the place for it. I requested it on an admins talk page. I haven't heard back from her yet. Last time she and I spoke on this matter she told me she would look into it for me. I'm still waiting. Caden S (talk) 03:11, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

I feel sorry for you. You have no life, go look for a life partner that's achievable, the gutter is always a good place to start. So sick of these tools. kiac (talk) 14:36, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
- It's because of tools like that IP goof above that makes editing around here frustrating at times. Caden S (talk) 03:11, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
Update
[edit]Alright, I have an update in regards to protection for the main article. The page is now semi-protected for three days. This will give us editors a bit of peace for now. If the IP vandalism picks up again, as I'm sure it will, please leave me a message on my talk page and I'll look into it again. Thanks. Caden S (talk) 20:53, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
Mason musso
[edit]Mason Musso twenty years old .Sing and play guitar. He have 2 brothers and he play in a band (Metro Station). He is the official singner with trace .But he did like 4 song alone and they're not in the album and there is 6 song of metro sation that no one really know because they are not in the album too.Ohh And mason is really hot...:P —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.14.171.238 (talk) 18:02, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- Okay. If Mason recorded four songs (as the lead) and if there are six (as you say) other songs out there not on the album, then why don't you include this in the article? Remember to use reliable sources before you add any information regarding your claim. Caden S (talk) 23:45, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
New song
[edit]Can we include the song "I Don't Wanna Be In Love (Dance Floor Anthem)" from the album "Greatest Remixes" in the discography? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.65.82.62 (talk) 17:56, 8 December 2008 (UTC) Mason musso is the hottest thing alive!! he is flawless!Metrostationgoodcharlotte (talk) 22:08, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
Band Picture
[edit]Why does the main picture just include the drummer? Shouldn't it be of the whole band —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.245.151.225 (talk) 20:41, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- I have a picture with Trace Cyrus, Anthony Improgo, and Blake Healy. It is entirely my work. Should I upload it and replace the one that's alread on there? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Qwertluis (talk • contribs) 22:54, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, if it is your own work, definitely upload it! There was a better picture, but i suppose some teen on her rags decided she had a crush on the drummer and replaced the picture? k-i-a-c (hitmeup - the past) 00:50, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
Why isn't there a more recent photo of the band with the new drummer Spencer Steffan? Olivergreenday (talk) 17:45, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
Discography
[edit]Underneath the album 'Metro Station' it states the producers as Joshua Cain and Justin Pierre who only produced one song. The rest were produced by S*A*M (Sam Hollander) and Sluggo (Dave Katz). I would change it but can't as it is protected. Can someone change it please? Adam2201 (talk) 18:22, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
Metro Station Is Emo?
[edit]Since when? Whats the reason for that genrelabel? Emo is a hardcore punk derivative, and metro station isn't even remotely associated with that. 62.107.136.116 (talk) 15:39, 27 May 2009 (UTC) Nizzemanden
- You're completely right. No, they are not emo at all, no matter what the uninformed may say. However, as long as that source (http://www.allmusic.com/artist/p980007) says so, they are officially labeled emo. Nothing we can do about it. Metro Station (band) → Metro Station — Metro Station is currently a redirect to this article, so it looks like the disambiguation isn't needed. Although most of the links are to this article, there have been a few changes to the redirect, and sometimes it has redirected to Metro station, so I don't know if a move would be uncontroversial. snigbrook (talk) 22:40, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, there should be a Metro station (disambiguation) page of which all other forms and variations are listed on/direct to. - ALLST✰R▼echo wuz here 23:17, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
- A disambiguation page would have to be Metro Station or Metro station (and that article would have to be moved). Also it looks like there are just these two pages and Metro Station (album), which is an album by Metro Station, so I don't know if a disambiguation page is needed (or what the title would be). snigbrook (talk) 00:27, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
- Honestly, I think we should just repoint Metro Station to lead to Metro station, and put good hatnotes on it. This I oppose the move as requested. SchuminWeb (Talk) 05:25, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
- It does not appear to be necessary to have a disambiguation page, as the hatnotes can handle this. I think SchuminWeb's recommendation to redirect Metro Station to Metro station (and keep Metro Station (band) where it is) makes sense. Sometimes people type in the capitalization when they are looking for the non-cap'd title; also, for some reason my iPhone app (Wikipanion) defaults to capitalizing every word in the search box. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 17:43, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose and agree that Metro Station should redirect to Metro station. Aubergine (talk) 03:35, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose. I redirected Metro Station back to Metro station as it was originally. We don't want different articles based solely on capitalization differences. If you search for Metro Station the first hit is Metro station. Hat notes are fine for people who hit Metro station looking for Metro Station (band). Also check Special:WhatLinksHere/Metro_station for how many links that would have to be fixed. --NrDg 04:35, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
- Either way a lot of links will need to be fixed. See Special:WhatLinksHere/Metro_Station as well - most links are for the band. --NrDg 04:44, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose specific meaning to undisambiguated title with either capitalization. And can't rely on readers knowing when to use caps when searching...un-necessarily confusing to have different meanings simply for different case. So best to have Metro Station/Metro station as the dab page (one redirecting to other). DMacks (talk) 05:49, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
Is Kenny Bozich in or out?
[edit]Recent edits have added and then removed Kenny Bozich from the current line-up. This ref says he's in, but is it a reliable source? Or are there any more reliable sources that can confirm or deny it? -- Timberframe (talk) 17:14, 12 January 2010 (UTC) METRO STATION (BAND)ROCKZZZZ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.100.8.200 (talk) 19:55, 27 February 2010 (UTC) Metro station was created in 2008. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hannah10125 (talk • contribs) 12:48, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
