Ammine is spelt like this not for historical reasons, but because it is the designation of ammonia as a ligand in a complex (eg. like chlorido is chloride as a ligand). While ammine is NH3 as ligand, amine is R-NH2, totally different. 193.136.36.171 (talk) 13:32, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
