Mechanism
[edit]In the page for Cytoxan I found this: "Mesna is a sulfhydryl donor and binds acrolein.". Perhaps this should be included in the "Mechanism" section? 76.119.233.105 (talk) 21:23, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Oral administration
[edit]The article currently states that mesna "is administered intravenously, but oral dosing has been investigated.[2]" The cited reference is from 2003, but I was in chemotherapy in 2000-01 and was given mesna orally. Perhaps someone conversant with medical research could expand or update the discussion of this point. JamesMLane t c 19:35, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
