Hi, I'm Kingsif, and I'll be doing this review. This is an automated message that helps keep the bot updating the nominated article's talkpage working and allows me to say hi. Feel free to reach out and, if you think the review has gone well, I have some open GA nominations that you could (but are under no obligation to) look at. Good Article review progress box
Criteria: 1a. prose () 1b. MoS () 2a. ref layout () 2b. cites WP:RS () 2c. no WP:OR () 2d. no WP:CV ()
3a. broadness () 3b. focus () 4. neutral () 5. stable () 6a. free or tagged images () 6b. pics relevant ()
Note: this represents where the article stands relative to the Good Article criteria. Criteria marked are unassessed
  • Copyvio check clear
  • Talkpage and article history show stability
  • Typical EP infobox, with fair use cover
    • Perhaps the 'studio' param can be left empty, since there was no actual studio
  • Free image of singer
  • Track listing and release chart standard
  • Range of refs that are suitable for purpose - some aren't accessible to me (e.g. liner notes), but no evidence of OR from others so taken on GF
  • Lead might be a little long
  • Is it possible to rephrase demo recordings recorded by to avoid the repetition
  • I feel that secure a contract and she ultimately this would read better if "and" was replaced by a comma or semi-colon; it's not another "hope", it's an outcome, if that makes sense
  • Marina solely wrote and produced all of the six songs that appear on the EP... → 'Marina wrote and produced all of the six songs that appear on the EP by herself...'
    • Unless it's saying she only used GarageBand, then 'Marina wrote and produced all of the six songs that appear on the EP only...' It appears to be both, and I'm not sure the qualifier is actually necessary in either case
  • Is it normal to identify Diamandis by her full stage name throughout?
  • Around this same time - 'around this time' or 'at the same time'
  • wrapped candies - shouldn't the article be in BritEng (unless it is, then this should be linked to hard candy for disambiguation)
  • she suggested that fans - could be 'later suggested', to note that it wasn't during the release that she told people to buy it elsewhere
  • recorded for an updated version - 'rerecorded'
  • I'm not sure of the relevance of the paragraph beginning During her time spent on Myspace... in its section; it would be better as background
  • The songs info (last paragraph of that section) seems a little short, but it doesn't appear there is much more coverage
  • as yet "another MySpace success story" - if the "yet" is in the quotation, the marks should be moved to include it; if not, it can be removed
  • Appears neutral enough throughout

Kingsif – Hello. I am just checking in to see when I can expect some comments for the review. Thanks, Carbrera (talk) 12:54, 21 August 2020 (UTC).[reply]

@Carbrera: Yes, sorry, I usually post them within a week, but I have them half-typed up (Word to prevent time-outs) already, I just (to push a cliche) lost track of time. Should be up very soon! Kingsif (talk) 17:26, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Kingsif – How is the article looking now? I believe I addressed your comments with my recent edits to the page. Let me know how else I can assist you in this process. Thanks, Carbrera (talk) 21:12, 29 August 2020 (UTC).[reply]
@Carbrera: Looks good except the studio in infobox. Her house is not a studio. Doesn't this param explicitly refer to places like Abbey Road Studios, not just wherever it was recorded? Kingsif (talk) 21:33, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Kingsif — I removed it. Carbrera (talk) 21:45, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
