[edit]Surely Mentor was created by Jim Starlin, together with Thanos and Eros. -- Beardo 15:47, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
Merge proposal
[edit]I'd suggest we merge Mentor (Titan) into Mentor (Marvel Comics) --Mrph 11:49, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Survey
[edit]Merge --Mrph 11:49, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Merge - If, as suggested, this becomes the page for Thanos's dad, with just a note about the other. -- Beardo 18:38, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Merge - Sounds good. --InShaneee 16:15, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Merged - This sat out here way too long.-- 18:55, 30 May 2007 (UTC)~
Discussion
[edit]- Any objections? They're both stubs and there's precedent for merging characters with the same name into a single article. Although Alars currently has his own article under Mentor (Titan), he's the more significant character (I'd completely forgotten the guardsman...) and Mentor (Marvel Comics) is probably the better page name. --Mrph 11:49, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- The Shi'ar IG version could simply be a disambig to Imperial Guard at the top of the combined page since he doesn't even have an article of his own. CovenantD 17:52, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed. He's already in List of Imperial Guard members, from the look of it - I hadn't actually noticed that 'til now. --Mrph 01:47, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Mentor (Marvel Comics) → Mentor (comics) —
- Wikipedia Comics project naming conventions. Mentor (comics) to be a DAB, but currently the redirect flow is in the wrong direction. Sharp962 (talk) 01:44, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
- I've really no problems with this since at this point the only comics characters called "Mentor" that have articles are the marvel characters. If a non-Marvel character crops up with an article, we can revisit this at that time. - J Greb (talk) 23:41, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
