Trying to add factual information and also need help to deal with the numerous issues on the page!

[edit]

Hello. I am hoping I can add some edits to this page that are factual in nature and not promotional. I am not sure how to resolve the issues about the conflict or about being disinterested; the festival is run mostly by volunteers and we are the only folks who can update the information, except for two staff members, whom we try to help by doing things like update this page. How can I deal with the issues about this? Also, there is a request to add references. I am not sure what to reference. The web page of the festival contains all the information which we tried to summarize here and lots more. What other references should I try to add??

I would like to add a paragraph to this page to update the information about what is going to be at the festival this year. I would like to add:

The 2012 season runs from July 7 through July 21. It includes works by Rossini, Lalo, Beethoven, Ginastera, Tan Dun, Mozart, Dvorak, Haydn, Mendelssohn, Mahler, Tchaikovsky, Pollack, and Mussorgsky, and performances by Sierra Hull & Highway 111, Turtle Island Quartet, Viver Brasil, Solas, Becca Stevens, Elizabeth Pitcairn, Wu Man, Paul Hersh, Spencer Myer, James D'Leon, Yoonyung Han, Francis Vanek, In the Mix, Geoffrey Keezer, and Samora & Elena Pinverhughes.

Does that seem ok?

Also, I need to update the page in general to delete certain references which are out of date. What is the best way to do that? Should I retype the whole thing with edits included? Is there a way to highlight the changes I am suggesting? Thanks editors!! (Mendokitties (talk) 00:15, 27 February 2012 (UTC))[reply]

help please

[edit]

I don't know how to fix the issues on this page. Is there any way I can get some of the problems resolved so the problems no longer show up on the page? All edits have been deleted except those I put on the talk page for over six weeks, and the only changes then were totally factual and can be verified on the web site or by members of the Festival Board. Can someone help me please??

Thanks very much!! (Mendokitties (talk) 19:41, 16 April 2012 (UTC))[reply]
