Spelling MOU or MoU?

According to the rule that acronyms read in single letters "emm-oh-you" are spelled in all caps, I suggest we follow that rule in this article. I know this is often spelled MoU, but nobody reads it "mow"! If necessary, let's have a discussion about it here... Shenhemu (talk) 06:09, 18 August 2014 (UTC)

OK, no comments here as of yet, so I will change it in the article now. Shenhemu (talk) 06:38, 21 August 2014 (UTC)

Sorry, just saw this after editing. Still, MoU is the commonest acronym, so it makes sense to use it instead of the all-cap. version. Here, the small o is for a preposition that generally should never be capitalized, so there are other "rules" that apply and maybe supersede the pronunciation rule. Besides, it's not exactly absolute, e.g. NATO, OPEC instead of expected *nato, *Opec. Torvalu4 (talk) 07:58, 6 September 2014 (UTC)
