is not suitable for this article. It's editorialising, which isn't suitable for an encyclopedia. The only connection between the two articles is the editorial point that's being made. Besides which, using Wikipedia as a reference is not allowed. If there's an actual newspaper editorial which makes a connection, a reference to that might be suitable (e.g. something starting "According to the Daily Mail, this follows a trend...).
