I've been wanting to see this article updated for a while but have been hesitant to do so myself since I started an academic collaboration with Meedan. More recently, I began consulting with Meedan alongside my academic role. I'm aware of Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest, but feel the article is so out-of-date now and relying on too many self-citations that leaving it alone is worse than editing despite the possible COI. I'm really happy for anyone to edit my contributions. My goal is to have a more up-to-date article that is NPOV. Computermacgyver (talk) 21:54, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've made a few updates to mostly just take the existing text, trim it, change it to the past tense, and move it to a new "Past Projects" section. I've tagged two sections as needing update. The annual reports Meedan needs to publish as a 501(c)(3) have some of the updated information for the Funding section, but I'm going to see if I can find better sources.
