Why a separate article?

[edit]

" ... from Tonbridge to Rochester, Kent"! What on earth does that mean? This article is based entirely on the fact that the Medway Valley Countryside Partnership is looking after the interests of part of the River Medway. Why it should need a separate article from River Medway is a puzzle ... no wonder Wikipedia has so many articles!!!! Peter Shearan 09:30, 9 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I can see no justification for this article. As I said in my comment on the discussion page, It seems to be simply based on the fact that the Medway Valley Countryside Partnership is looking after the interests of PART of the river valley. Now all sorts of additional things having the words "Medway Valley" have crept in! In any case it is untrue to say that the valley is "from Tonbridge to Rochester" surely?
