Aus-Med Cup

[edit]

So, I don't know if this should really be considered the same tournament. If it should be the same page, which should be the re-direct and which should be the root page? Any ideas? Also, should this page be made to look more like other RLEF tournament pages?Rugbyhelp (talk) 02:15, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Given the ephemeral nature of these tournaments, it might as well be Aus-Med redirecting here. We seem to have done half a job already saying that Australia is the host. However we don't have any more information about who was playing or what happened in 2009. Needs to be done next. Changes to format, or a split off article, can happen later. According to this [1] Greece, Italy, Malta and Portugal were taking part, although the trail seems pretty dry. Stevebritgimp (talk) 02:41, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Aus-Med Shield is a totally different format to the Mediterranean Cup. this was staged in Sydney and played at Marconi Stadium over two days, with Italy playing Greece in the final and Greece crowned as winners. I will add more information to this. Mick Pezzano — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pezzano (talkcontribs) 13:00, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
