I've been going through the article, and virtually every other sentence that I've read has at least partially misrepresented its cited source. I've started going through and fixing issues but anticipate that this may take some time. signed, Rosguill talk 22:42, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
- Having gone through the article, I've fixed up most of the issues I came across. It's not clear to me, however, whether some of the information about COVID-19 and information presented as solutions to the problem of medical deserts are really due for inclusion; the quality of sourcing drops off a cliff when we get to the proposed remedies sections; if academic literature addressing the subject of medical deserts directly doesn't raise these potential solutions, we probably shouldn't include them in the article. signed, Rosguill talk 01:04, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
Potential additions to this article
Hello! I am considering adding some content to this article over the next few weeks. I think this is such an important topic, and I am so glad someone else created an article on it! I would like to add more detailed information about the racial implications of medical deserts and the downstream impacts of these medical deserts. Check out my user page for more information!
