Out of Market Radio

[edit]

This section should logically only include the suburban (rimshot) station CFQK, a Canadian station that does cover a part of Thunder Bay's media market.

The reception of WGLI is irrelevant - there's no proven citation for it, no proof that it has even a small listener base in Thunder Bay. The coverage maps indicate no such thing. The anecdotal reception of WJMS in Ironwood one month in September of 2007 is based on a bandscan from a radio fan "DX" blog, not a reliable source that proves that WJMS is regularly audible in the Thunder Bay metro. Same with "FM 91.3 American public radio similar to CBC receivable in car radios" - which is not even a proven station with actual call letters.

This section should only include stations that have documented, mapped reception on a consistent basis in the Thunder Bay marketplace, which qualifies CFQK. Sporadically received US stations with no mapped coverage do not belong in this article and the individual reverting these edits seems to be particularly promotional regarding WGLI.
