A new word to stress that media convergence changed

[edit]

I have written the first draft of this article, because "Media Deconvergence" is now a term that appear more and more often in academic research, yet when entered in a Google search, this is aumatically corrected into "Media Convergence". The same entry about technical convergence in wikipedia, under the section of "media", reveals that the understanding of media convergence has changed: there is an old understanding and a new understanding. The notion of media deconvergence helps understanding what is 'new' in the current version. As a researcher of social science specialised in media and communications, I would like to disclose a COI: I have also written about media convergence and deconvergence, hence, partly, I used here also my own references.
