Suggest removing claim that MKS is not found outside of Amish

[edit]

I believe this claim is unfounded. Do a Google search of MKS and you will find research articles about it from almost every region of the world. I remember hearing specifically that it was found in Australian Aboriginal populations, thought to be due to European sailors (the Amish are of Swiss/German descent) who briefly visited the continent and left their genetic mark. Plus the statement is logically unfounded because Amish is technically a church group and this statement doesn't account for carriers of Amish descent who have produced children outside of the Amish. 2600:1002:A100:5B9B:2FDF:4E08:AE1F:1A21 (talk) 14:42, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I changed this statement to better reflect what the source document said. Ghj3211 (talk) 14:48, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
