Redundant Definition of Mastication

Is defining the word mastication in parenthesis really necessary? It seems rather redundant to me.

McDLT, Arch Deluxe, Big Xtra, Big 'n Tasty

These sandwiches were nothing alike - chadhart , Big Xtra and Big 'n Tasty were ripoffs of the BK Whopper.

Is the McDLT notable enough to have its own article?

~~...or should it be merged with the main article/another more appropriate article? I haven't found a list of McDonald's items article-perhaps it was deleted because of WP:OR?~~ I'm a blind asshole.
