Anselmi Davide/Davide Anselmi
[edit]Hey, giving you guys a head's up. This guy didn't work on the film. Long story short, this guy tried adding himself and his stuff to Wikipedia last year and it looks like he's back again. I took notice of him via this AfD, where I quickly found that the claims for his film were obviously false. I'll just post what I wrote last year about a film article he tried to write:
- "It claimed to have a lot of star power as far as its cast and crew went, from Stephen Sondheim handling the music (which is odd, considering that a musician is directing the film) to one of the Harry Potter cast members (Timothy Spall) and Sacha Baron Cohen starring. Bizarrely, it also had an award winning costume designer (Colleen Atwood) as a star as well."
As you can see, these are pretty ridiculous claims to make for a film and the claims of him working on Maze Runner are almost certainly false, given that the only places that seem to mention this are Anselmi's pages or places that could be fairly easily edited by random users. Basically, the guy looks like he's trying to use Wikipedia to perpetuate a hoax. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:08, 20 October 2016 (UTC)

Added Rosa Salazar to the Infobox showing Starring actors. Will justify here.
[edit]As per the https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Maze_Runner:_The_Scorch_Trials article's Talk discussion on the equivalent infobox on that article, Rosa Salazar as well as a long list of others are billed as starring in The Scorch using a visual effect on the main star's names before the main credit roll. Since these names are set apart from the rest of the non-starring roles, the style guide at https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Film#Infobox suggests they can be included in this Infobox list of starring actors. JoeyConnick cited the posters for two out of three of the movies in this series as not displaying Salazar's name, and that is cause for thinking she isn't a main star of these movies as per the mentioned style guide, but the guide also allows for stars named on screen in larger typeface or at the start of the movie, separate from the main credits, and Salazar is listed with the other stars in that context.
For evidence of this star billing please see Fox. (2024, December 3). Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials [Video]. Amazon Prime. https://www.amazon.com/Maze-Runner-Scorch-Dylan-OBrien/dp/B015IVGKG8/
And lastly, my deepest apologies for undoing Joeyconnick's edit which removed my edit without adding a comment or justifying my edit, but I made a mistaken mouse click.
Please also see the talk page for The Scorch Trials to see the explanation that the list of STAR actors in this film is long for a good reason and not because miscellaneous actors are cited in the box, and see that the second largest face on most of the posters for said movies have Roza Salazar's face as she's playing a main character. Undo-ing the Undo of myself adding Rosa Salazar into the actor list
[edit]I just used Undo to put back my edit which added Rosa Salazar to the Infobox list of actors for stars of this series, and as I previously said the last time I did this the reason given is that she was featured in large part on the original posts for these movies despite her name not being on many posters, and while her name not being on the poster is JoeyConnick's stated reason for removing her, the style guide I cite and the talk section of the Scorch movie sub topic both state that if she is called out separately from the general role of actors at the end of the movie by her naming being showed with other features stars at the start of the movie, she is a featured star. I cited the place this can be seen in the movie. Sir, she is not merely in the staff list of the credits roll but is in the features stars list before the credits roll, with her name stylized in a sand effect.
Also, Joeyconnick says that "In general" the case is that if they aren't named on the poster of the original release they aren't to be considered a star for the infobox, but the style guide different on that practice by specifically saying they warrant inclusion if their name is called out on screen outside the staff roll / credits roll, which is the case here. I also wish to call into question that "General" is not "always", and this film isn't like other films which have a few stars, but starred an entire group of people, which is very amply explained in the Scorch movie's Talk thread. - Per BRD you need to develop consensus for your change. I'm not "removing her", I'm reverting your edit to stable page. We go by poster billing blocks: Salazar is not listed on them.
- Stop editwarring or you may be banned. —Joeyconnick (talk) 22:10, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
- I wasn't aware I was editwarring and I did make a case in the talk page. Like I said in the talk page, the style guide I referenced from Wikpedia says the poster is not the only source for a billing block to see who stars in a movie, but says to also include cases where a star's name is called out on the screen separate from the ending credit roll. Is that style guide I cited wrong? Can you please take a look at the talk section of the Scorch movie in this series for a more full explanation of this point by other users, to show I'm not along in this take that she's a main star of this movie. I'm new at this back and forth thing, so when and how do we come to a decision? —Keyosuke (talk) 06:43, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
