Fuel economy
[edit]The Mazda CX-7 has been reported as a great car by some reviewers, but has also been described as a gas-guzzler. There are numerous reviews available to verify the fuel figures in real world driving, which can be quickly found by a google search. I have personal experience with a CX-7 and can verify that I would be driving one now if I could afford to fill up every 300km. GrahamP (talk) 10:38, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
- I have been reverting to "real world" fuel economy figures because they are relevant to "real world" driving. I am aware of Mazda dealerships in Australia fielding queries at the high fuel consumption being experienced in city driving. Many drivers have reported surprise at the high consumption and requirement to re-fill at short intervals. Mazda cars are not usually known for being gas guzzlers (except for the rotaries) and publishing "real world" fuel consumption is reasonable.GrahamP (talk) 22:06, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
You're not the only person with a CX-7, and your continent is certainly not the only place getting CX-7's. Putting in claims from one test doesn't make it a fact that every owner is getting "typical" gas mileage out of what the estimates claim. The MPG varies, it's not poor for everybody. Sorry if that's hard to believe because you can't afford to fill it up, other places like North America also get Front Wheel Drive CX-7's that are returning very good owner-reported MPG that is better than the EPA estimate for the combined cycle because it doesn't have the full-time ATS-AWD that is standard on all AUS-Spec CX-7's. - Thanks for the comments - good points GrahamP (talk) 03:25, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
Transmission
[edit]Transmission info should be changed because it is sold with a manual too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.3.11.248 (talk) 10:21, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
