Diner
[edit]Yes, there is a diner in Mayfair. There are diners all over the city. What reliable sources can be cited for the inclusion of this one in particular (see Wikipedia:Image#Choosing_images)? - SummerPhD (talk) 01:26, 28 November 2011 (UTC)
Other sources
[edit]- Vella, Vinny. "'Swiss Cheese Pervert' terrorizes Mayfair." Philadelphia Daily News. Friday, January 10, 2014.
I don't know if this has long-term notability or not... WhisperToMe (talk) 22:29, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
- Not sure that we have anything to add here unless/until the situation receives far more coverage than it has. Additionally, the coverage seems to say it isn't limited to Mayfair (I would assume the more specific your turn on (and if he's limiting himself to Swiss cheese, that's pretty specific...), the larger the lake you'll need to troll in.)
- <sarcasm>Maybe add a line to Emmentophilia?</sarcasm> - SummerPhD (talk) 01:03, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
- They have a "suspect" in custody. He was shopping around in several Philly neighborhoods and part of Montco. Doesn't seem to be particularly tied to Mayfair (or of lasting import). Nothing to add here or at Velveetaphilia. - SummerPhD (talk) 19:30, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
Editing to "promote (yes, promote) their community"
[edit]This edit is local boosterism intended to promote the neighborhood.[1] It does not belong on Wikipedia. - SummerPhD (talk) 11:56, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
