Career impact of Freddie Starr from the Who Do You Do? TV show
[edit]Re "they only want the walk" in the article (an audience in the 1970's). A 1970's ITV impression show called Who Do You Do? had Freddie Starr often doing the Max Wall silly walk as an impersonation of him - in fact it was the only way that Wall was portrayed in the show (leading audiences of that era to conclude that it was the most famous thing about Wall - who himself was hardly on TV etc at the time). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.99.210.174 (talk) 11:08, 14 June 2022 (UTC)

Birthplace
[edit]37 Glenshaw Mansions, Brixton Road, was previously occupied by music hall and character actress Buena Bent: She performed at the very first Royal Variety Performance, in 1912, but it seems that she is not considered notable. Martinevans123 (talk) 11:42, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
