[edit]Anyone have a photo of him without the make-up?
Expert?
[edit]This line "He is famous for being an expert on the Rules of Acquisition and can quote them by memory." makes no sense. Every Ferengi knows the rules of acquisition. Every Ferengi learns these rules as a child. It's like saying I'm famous for being an expert in reciting the alphabet...EVERYONE knows the alphabet! Vince 02:26, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- I think the article means that the actor, Max Grodenchik, can recite the rules from memory. Frankg 06:51, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
- Just to mention it, I'm not sure every Ferengi can quote them by heart. I was just watching a marathon and I remember seeing various Ferengi stumble more than once. Quark was complimented by his mother for having memorized them thoroughly and quickly unlike his brother. So if it was about his character, it might not necessarily be true. Either way, some verifiable source could help to determine whether it's true about his character or the actor, firstly, and secondly, whether it's true at all. Maybe someone could find a quote from a DS9 episode or a page that verifies this for the actor? 98.15.211.137 (talk) 04:22, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
Improving this article...
[edit]Max has been the subject of numerous news sources and his life and carer has been coverd in many books. If concerns are so easily surmountable, deletion is not an option. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 02:09, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
birthday
[edit]was he born in 1966 or in 1952? both dates are in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.66.37.79 (talk) 12:43, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
I second that, the dates are completely different. He can't be born in two different years. Maybe someone can find a valid source to verify the date? If he's not well-known enough to have a page, maybe the birth date could be removed until a verifiable source for that information can be found. 98.15.211.137 (talk) 04:16, 20 March 2011 (UTC) (tiel)
Name spelling illegal.
[edit]His name is spelled "Grodénchik" in this article. The "é" is not an English letter and is not allowed on the English version of Wikipedia. Being from New York, this foreign letter is also illegal under NYS law. It should be removed from the article.Presidentbalut (talk) 15:55, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
- No. Please see Talk:René_Auberjonois/Archives/2015#Name spelling illegal.. - SummerPhD (talk) 03:48, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
