I noticed where an editor made improvements on the article "Mawza exile," but also wrote that he had "Preemptively archived with the Internet Archive and linked to page number." What does this refer to?-Davidbena (talk) 23:47, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Linked to page number = Adding "#page=270" (or a different number) to the end of the URL linking to a PDF. What this means is that if this PDF is loaded in an internet browser, the computer "should" automatically turn to this page of the PDF numbering when the PDF finishes loading. This is intended to make things easier for the reader. Contributor613 (talk) 23:50, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Davidbena: Unfortunately, I am going to quick fail this article's GAN. I am concerned about the extensive use of block quotes and long excerpts from sources. Wikipedia articles should use quotes sparingly and put the quotes within context. This article has many excepts and, as a reader who has no background information on this topic, I do not understand the context of these quotes or why they are important. I suggest that the quotes be summarised and put in context of the event, and the article should rely on WP:WIKIVOICE instead of first-hand accounts. The article also does not need the full text of the poems and testimony, and instead their relationship to the topic should be highlighted. Once these are complete, please feel free to renominate the article. Z1720 (talk) 22:02, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
