On the 29th June 2010 Wigan Athletic announced the signing of Mauro Boselli on a four year contract for an undisclosed fee. Roberto Martinez, Wigan's current manager has said "Mauro is a goalscorer, who lives to put the ball in the back of the net and he is somebody we have been looking at for a long time."
Wigan Athletic fan's are said to be very pleased with the signing, and are excited to be able to watch Mauro in action.
