Omitted to mention in the article's original edit summary that a chunk of the text in the middle section is taken from the Rua Kenana Hepetipa article. Also, my understanding of Māori culture and diacritics is very weak - apologies for any howlers. Ben Mac Dui 19:21, 8 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Settlement type

I have set the settlement type to “Village”, per [1], but the more accurate term might be “Pā” or even “Marae”—it’s quite hard to tell without being there how far beyond the marae the settlement goes.
