Authenticity check: A search reveals that the phrase "regarded by many" appears in the text. Is the phrase a symptom of a dubious statement? Could a source be quoted instead? Perhaps the "many" could be identified? Might text be edited to more genuinely reflect specific facts?
Unsourced claims
[edit]Claims that his cafe had become available to him through arianization are not sourced. Along with that, the article misses to explain the anti-fascist beliefs of Sindelar. Afonso Silva 22:06, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
International goals
[edit]If Sindelar scored in the 1938 "Anschlussspiel" against Germany, why is that not included in the table of his international goals? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.24.29.167 (talk) 19:06, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
Jewish
[edit]I dispute the assumption that he was Jewish. Particularly given the two sources given are shaky at best. The first source doesn't even say that Sindelar was Jewish and the second appears to be a rather trivial 'Top 10' book. JackPKD (talk) 19:17, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
- The Czech version of this article still says that Sindelar was born into a Jewish family ('narozený ... v židovské rodině'), whereas the English version says he wasn't. I've no idea what the truth is), but different versions of the same Wikipedia article surely shouldn't contradict each other.188.203.49.105 (talk) 13:43, 21 June 2014 (UTC)
- The sources clearly say he wasn't—the Czech version is wrong. —Cliftonian (talk) 14:48, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
