"He was a grandson of Matthew Talbot, who was the third son of the tenth Earl of Shrewsbury. That Matthew Talbot was born in England in 1699." This Matthew was the son of Thomas Talbot, who was seventh son of the 10th Earl of Shrewsbury, John Talbot. Thomas Talbot was the third son of Frances Arundel by that John Talbot. This also corrects the dates between the birth of Matthew Talbot in 1699 since the 10th Earl of Shrewsbury died in 1654, forty-five years earlier. -TheStudpuff1n
