Serbian literature

Ban is also treated as belonging to Croatian literature, so stating that he wrote in Serbian idiom or belongs to Serbian literature cannot stay. It can either be categorized linguistically and not ethnically (i.e. Serbo-Croatian idiom, Serbo-Croatian literature), or not at all, otherwise it would be POV. --Ivan Štambuk (talk) 17:53, 4 January 2014 (UTC)

I took it to mean that the references were to Serbian literature specifically, and/or that he wrote in ekavian. If he wrote in the Dubrovnik dialect, then you're correct. Which is it? --Joy [shallot] (talk) 18:06, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
He wrote in Ijekavian, and also in Illyrian orthography with ě. He wrote in Dubrovnik dialect. He is grouped as a part of both Croatian and Serbian literature along various lines. --Ivan Štambuk (talk) 20:07, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
