I plan on working on this stub and developing it into a respectable wikipedia page which provides adequate information on material efficiency including different kinds of materials which can be used today to build that save energy consumption, cut heating/cooling costs/ last longer than previously used materials, materials that are stronger, lighter, more durable in certain weather conditions. Examples include materials better suited to be used in building homes in a very dry climate or homes that are in an area which frequently sees hurricanes or heavy rainfall.
