This plaque was provided by the owner at the show I shot the picture in the article... (You can just make it out in the thumb, on the left side.) Or am I to believe the owner was lying? TREKphiler hit me ♠ 08:12 & 08:13, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

you still have to somehow cite this source in the article.   — Chris Capoccia TC 13:53, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

i've also asked a question (Wikipedia:Media copyright questions#'48 massey-harris 20 tractor banner.jpg) about the copyright status of the image. i don't think you can claim cca unless you are also the author of the text of the plaque. either way, there are problems with using this image as the sole source for an article.   — Chris Capoccia TC 14:23, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not going to say the photo of the plaque should stay up; I just added it to demo there is sourcing. Also, if you look at the main photo, there's obviously documentation to go with it. I'm less clear if the posted plaque is distinctly different from an interview with the owner, since it's based on information from the same source. Meantime, I'm going to have a look (soon as they're open again) at the local library to see if I can't confirm some of it independently. TREKphiler hit me ♠ 07:48, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
