POV-check PLEASE

[edit]

This page is exteremely biased; it is propaganda from Falun Gong IMHO.

Just look at all the references:

1) blogs from Wordpress very likely written by Falun Gong disciple qualify as reliable source?

2) Look at all the self-publication - all the pro-Falun Gong/anti-China sources are cited from Falun Gong affaliates:

FLGhrwg.net
ClearHarmony.net
Faluninfo.net
fofg.org - quasi-government organization founded by Congressman Tom Lanto's wife, operated by Embassador Mark Palmer. FoF IRS Form 990, page 4 list of directors, 2001.
Epoch Times - FLG affiliated media CRS Report page CRS-8 list of Falun Gong affiliated media
flgjustice.org
falundafa-florida.org

Sure and if you take a look, you have also inserted sources from the PRC. Which makes the article balanced, wouldn't you agree? --HappyInGeneral (talk) 10:38, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Happy please correct yourself - I have not inserted any sources from the PRC.
None the less, your false response does not address the problem of blogs being non-notable, and the numerous self-publishing sources listed above.

The New York Times article contains more or less the same information as Epoch Times but is somewhat broader in coverage. I don't there there is a point of view problem here; just a difficult matter that is hard to deal with adequately. User:Fred Bauder Talk 15:31, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notability issue scrutinized

[edit]
  • Wordpress sources are blogs. Heck 1st link is even depricated.
  • flghrwg.net - only 5 in entire Google news archive:

none within any recent time: http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us&ie=UTF-8&q=falun-gong-human-rights-working-group&as_drrb=q&as_qdr=m&as_mind=20&as_minm=12&as_maxd=19&as_maxm=1

  • flgjustice.org - none in entire Google news archive:

Letter found in Halloween set -- unverified

[edit]

FYI, the Oregonian article doesn't state that the letter is from the camp--just that the letter mentions the camp by name. Nothing has been proven so far, hence I am removing that section.

Also, who is Benpais? Hopefully he is not a sockpuppet of people who have been topic banned. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.222.42.29 (talk) 17:47, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Pretty good source in The New York Times that that particular item did come from this camp. User:Fred Bauder Talk 15:31, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
