I cannot figure out the logic in categorizing every piece of land or settlement in Israel as "depopulated during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war". In the case of this, and many settlements, settlers founded a kibbutz wel or town well before the 1948 conflict, i.e., there was no population to depopulate during the 1948 conflict. It is logical where a population has been shown to have fled or evacuated a location, but totally illogical and unacceptable to use this categorization where there was no depopulation. Therefore, I have removed this label from the page for Masada (Kibbutz), where the tower and Stockade settlement had been established more than a decade prior to the cited conflict. - this cannot apply as kibbutz Masada was established years prior to the conflict.StevenBirnam 15:48, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
