Whole article about marriage negotiations

[edit]

Are there nothing else than marriage negotiations to the Scottish king to be said about her life?--Aciram (talk) 12:14, 11 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I am not surprised. She died aged 22. Surtsicna (talk) 12:59, 11 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I am not surprised either, but that does not mean that there is no more to be said. There should be at least something about the personality, personal habits and acts as an official figure (if only representation)/ or the view about her from contemporaries in all such articles when there could be. Many articles say nothing more than genealogy even when they die age 82, and there are much more to be said - some articles even do not mentioned when someone has been a regent for a time, or political acts, just genealogy and titles. I have seen that when I have added such information. Here one could at least describe something about her household, her education, personality, and use other headlines to give a the article a more neutral and personal appearance. The age is not an argument, she was not 12. --Aciram (talk) 13:47, 11 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Not every noble lady is notable enough for such things to be known. In fact, biographies that cannot contain anything but genealogy and titles should not be part of Wikipedia. There are plenty of genealogy websites around. Surtsicna (talk) 15:29, 11 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Reader, stay a while to read the description of a sixteenth-century wedding negotiation ! Unoquha (talk) 18:28, 28 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
