The marriage was not a happy one, and her oppressive relationship with her husband colored her life. He had little say in the running of the house, and avoided his wife and their house. However, he kept her almost constantly pregnant, but took no responsibility for the children.
This characterization is unsupported by a citation, and somewhat contradictory—if Greeley had "little say in the running of the house" and avoided it, how is that "oppressive?" And "kept her pregnant" implies intention at best and sexual assault at worst, again without a citation. It just stands out in an otherwise competent article. —Matuko (talk) 13:36, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
