This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... subject is a well-established writer who has won awards and maintains an extensive bibliography. These can be shown in the article to expand it beyond a stub. Pkeets (talk) 02:54, 26 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'm declining the speedy for just this reason. I'm not completely sold on her notability, as award nominations don't count towards notability and just getting published in book compilations doesn't guarantee notability. However there is enough asserted here to where I don't think that it's really something we could speedy as far as bios go. I'll see what I can find for her. I have commenced a tidy-up of the Bibliography section using cite templates for books and articles, as well as tables for organising short stories, poems and/or book reviews. Capitalization and punctuation follow standard cataloguing rules in AACR2 and RDA, as much as Wikipedia templates allow it. ISBNs and other persistent identifiers, where available, are commented out, but still available for reference. This is a work in progress; feel free to continue.
