Alleged multiple issues

[edit]

According to the tag on the article page, "This article's factual accuracy is disputed." Could we have:

  • helpful suggestions for rearranging the material, which User:Fdizile considers necessary
  • a teeny hint about which statements the tagger considers factually inaccurate? See Wikipedia:Accuracy dispute
  • constructive suggestions about how the lead should be amended?

The whole tone of the attack on this article seems to me wholly contrary to Wikipedia:Please do not bite the newcomers and to risk driving a new contributor away with its negativity. Tim riley (talk) 15:02, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Tim, Thank you very much for your contribution, I now remember not to "bite" as you say, at the new wikipedians. Thank you (again) for bringing some more insight, into this Conversation/Dispute --Fdizile (developer) 15:06, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Tim, I was exactly feeling bit at! Here is a link to The Whitechapel catalogue referred to: http://www.worldcat.org/title/mary-potter-paintings-1938-1964-an-exhibition-at-whitechapel-gallery-london/oclc/004670372 – Preceding unsigned comment added by Jasmine 51 (talkcontribs) 15:13, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Also to note I am not the writer of any of the original material. – Preceding unsigned comment added by Jasmine 51 (talkcontribs) 15:16, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Fdizile (developer) could you please tell me what are the facts you dispute? And I will try to back them up. Jasmine 51 Jasmine 51 15:19, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment

[edit]

I have assessed this article as start class, currently, although it could move up to C-class if we could add a little more material from other sources about Potter's methods, and one or two additional reactions to her work by independent art critics or art historians. -- Ssilvers (talk) 04:59, 20 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
