Queensland connection?

[edit]

Bob Katter yesterday in Parliament proudly claimed that his Division of Kennedy had produced Mary Gilmore. But I can find no evidence she ever had any connection with Queensland at all. She seems to have lived her whole life in New South Wales, apart from a stint in South America. Anyone know any different? -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 18:40, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
