Did she really help found loaded magazine - sounds dubious at best!

I am not going to lie, this article is not encyclopedic at all. 24.74.16.11 05:02, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Birthdate

[edit]

"Born 1966" contradicts her MySpace profile, which says she's 33. Please return the birthdate with a reliable source. - Zeibura (Talk) 12:10, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just spotted the same birthdate contradiction! I've found some more contradictions:

  • On 24 May 2002 Metro [1] said she was 37 -> born ~1965
  • On 2 May 2004 The Times [2] said she was 39 -> born ~1965
  • On 30 October 2006 The Independent [3] said she was 35 -> born ~1972
  • This article [4] currently (11 Jan 2008) says "born May 16th, 1964" -> 44
  • Her MySpace [5] currently (11 Jan 2008) says she's 33 -> ~1975

Metro and The Times seem to agree, and at least six years ago in the 2002 Metro article she's asked "What's it like being closer to 40 than 30?" so I think this article's current 1964 is probably correct. (All this confusion is quite ironic given the answer she gives to that question!) -11/01/2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.100.124.219 (talk) 16:17, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

[edit]

I changed the picture to the one on the Dubstep article as I felt it was a much better shot - larger closer in, less blurry and clearer. Feel free to revert if you disagree - or maybe a more experienced wikipediam can incoporate both images? Caseykcole (talk) 23:52, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

category

[edit]

hey, true steppa, MAH isn't a musician in the sense that she has released a 12" or anything. she compiled an album and plays dubstep on the radio. she doesn't make tracks (and i'm not dissing her either, love what she does). so i'm gonna move it back to the less specific dubstep cat again. hope you can see my reasoning :) --Kaini (talk) 22:42, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

i mean she play dubstep like Joe Nice do that. Joe Nice isn't a musician aswell --True Steppa (talk) 22:51, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
that's true too, and it's a BIG debate - is a DJ a musician or just someone who plays records? category:dubstep djs would probably be overkill. hey, move it back if you want to, it's not a big deal at all. --Kaini (talk) 22:53, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
moved back. this category page contains notice: This is a category containing musical artists who perform, write, or DJ dubstep music. --True Steppa (talk) 23:05, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
no probs :) good stuff with the cats tonight. i've been trying to WP:MOS the wikilinks in the main dubstep article, but it's very very tedious work. still, the recent edit war has me improving and updating the article a bit, and that's a good thing. --Kaini (talk) 23:14, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Problems

[edit]
  • it says "People from Garstang" but the first line of the page says she was born in Preston.
  • It appears that the page has been incorrectly modified various times, and the person has used various accounts similar to her real name to edit (one of them was blocked) to remove some statements.

"Full Throttle Famous"

[edit]

I don't know the programme "Full Throttle Famous" but I did some searching and it seems like MAH doesn't **present** it (as wkp claims) but presumably might have appeared on it. Anyone can clarify? Ideally please add a citation to the article --mcld (talk) 08:13, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Puff

[edit]

This whole thing is very badly referenced and reads like a press-release. Did she write it herself? pablo 10:21, 14 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm. Look at this edit, at lease the current version's not quite so gushing. pablo 10:35, 14 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
