Neutrality
[edit]In many respects, this page reads like a fluff piece for Mr. Bishara. Two of the four references are praise for his book, while the other two provide little perspective on Mr. Bishara. Many unreferenced sentences are likewise full of praise for Mr. Bishara. This is not encyclopedic. Dyrnych (talk) 01:47, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
- Which other information do you suggest to add to the article? I think that {{Advert}} or {{Like resume}} would be more appropriate for the current article than the harsh NPOV. I don't see any really controversial material here, although the article could clearly be better. Place Clichy (talk) 13:18, 25 July 2014 (UTC)
His date and place of birth and religion might help. He is a very influential person and makes very controversial programs so it would be interesting to know more about him and what his background is.77.92.17.160 (talk) 10:32, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
What did he actually study? Does he have a degree in international relations, or political science? How and when did he develop his current views? I don't see much controversial material here, but some useful information would be welcome.

Edit Request: Change place of birth from "Nazareth, Palestine" to "Nazareth, Israel"
[edit]The article currently opens with: "Marwan Bishara (Arabic: مروان بشارة) is a Palestinian Arab, born in Nazareth, Palestine."
This should be changed to: "Marwan Bishara (Arabic: مروان بشارة) is a Palestinian Arab, born in Nazareth, Israel."
While it is clear that Bishara identifies as a Palestinian Arab, it is factually incorrect to list his birthplace as "Nazareth, Palestine", as he was born in 1959, and Nazareth has been a city within internationally recognized Israeli territory since 1948.
