Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it is a page I am currently working on. It is currently being worked on, and thus does not yet "assert the importance" of this musician as stated, but the person in question is popular amongst the underground scene as evidenced by his repeated front-page presence on Bandcamp. The user who nominated the article for speedy deletion is also unregistered, and I feel with improvement, this could be a valuable article. --Spaceyavin (talk) 00:35, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

I've added some articles as references - could someone remove the speedy deletion tag? The article is still a stub, however, so I'll continue to work on it. Spaceyavin (talk) 01:57, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

Since you have said you are still working on the article, I have moved it to the draft namespace so that you can polish it up without the threat of deletion. When the article is ready, either leave a note on my talk page asking me to move it back to the mainspace or move it yourself. Before moving back to the mainspace, make sure that the article clearly asserts the significance of the artist and meets the notability guidelines described at WP:BAND. Happy writing! Thank you, that seems fair enough - I see I should have drafted it first rather than progressively editing in mainspace. Thanks again. Spaceyavin (talk) 02:50, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
