"Licence" versus "license"
[edit]Typically in British English, "licence" is the noun form, and "license" is the verb, so a when a licensee has a licence, they are licensed by a government authority.
Theory of De Vere as Martin
[edit]Where's the reference for this? Its a controversial suggestion, not common knowledge, and as such requires justification. I'll wait a few days for a response but if there isn't one, I will delete. Also the references for the page are generally poor. There isn't even mention of Leland Carlson's excellent book.--BenJonson (talk) 23:41, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
- I think whoever added that in, was mixed up and put him on the wrong side of the tracks (or tracts in this case!). I went ahead and deleted it as it was unreferenced. Smatprt (talk) 23:55, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
