Notability
[edit]Every reference for this article refers to something written by Mr Whitman himself. Wikipedia is not the place for manifestos. If no other reliable sources have written anything about him, his notability for Wikipedia purposes is doubtful. Miraculouschaos (talk) 04:24, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
The above paragraph is dumb drivel. Whitman has written at least four books. Search on the ISBN I just entered for his latest. We can tolerate millions of words in Wikipedia about the most obscure fantasy characters, but a published author isn't notable? When I'm interested in a book, I want to be able to turn to Wikipedia first to learn a little bit about an author. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.139.4.36 (talk) 02:59, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
