Conflict of interest?

[edit]

I'm concerned that this page is written almost entirely by one user, Property1925. It seems highly probable that the user is either the subject of the article or family/friends given that they uploaded the picture in the article and credited it as 'own work'. This would I believe represent a conflict of interest.

The article is also heavily edited by one IP address, including removing a flag raised about the lack of independent sources (perhaps a reasonable concern given the sources are almost exclusively to pages maintained by Martin Dixon or books written by Martin Dixon). I wonder if this IP address corresponds to the same user, but could be wrong on that.

Does anyone else share these concerns? This is my first attempt to flag a potential COI so if I have formatted this incorrectly please let me know.

- Notably, the IP address associated with many edits is also registered to CB1 in Cambridge, i.e. where Martin Dixon's offices would be: https://whatismyipaddress.com/ip/81.100.88.58 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C5:6C1A:6E01:B478:DC7E:4624:7311 (talk) 18:49, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Since I have just reverted vandalism on the page, and removed the previous caption that I believe to be have been an attempt at humour, I will declare my potential COI here: I am a relative of one of the people named on the page. This was my first edit to the page. -- John of Reading (talk) 08:04, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
