Greenblatt is no longer Dept. Chair; the article implies that she is.

The statement that any human being has had a particularly "significant life" seems more appropriate for a philosophy class than a Wikipedia article. The articles on FDR and Gandhi probably don't note that their lives were significant; with all respect to Prof. Greenblatt, whom I very much admire, I doubt she (or any other chemist in the world) has had more significant impact on the world.
