"starkly homophobic terms" is subjective
[edit]"in 1993 while a freshman at NIU, he penned an opinion piece for the Northern Star when Bill Clinton was working to lift the ban on homosexuals serving in the military denouncing such efforts in starkly homophobic terms" Subjective, right? And it's not even language he uses to describe his own essay in "My Metric". I'd like to fix it, does anyone want to tell me I'm wrong to do so, or suggest a different solution? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Benevolent Prawn (talk • contribs) 19:40, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
- Since there is no secondary source provided in the article that discusses, interprets, or puts the opinion piece in "starkly homophobic terms" context, I've simplified that part down to a more basic statement. Thanks, AzureCitizen (talk) 13:26, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
