Article

[edit]

Can someone please include in the article the Mark Rudan song? - unsigned

I presume this is the song about him being "a big blue man". Languague is probably inappropriate for wikipedia, but if you want to hear it the Cove are in fine voice on Youtube (language warning). - Tomperc 02:40, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Guess there is missing the story that Mark Rudan was arrested in Germany because a bigger deceive. - unsigned

Article now includes the story and references for dodgy German transfer dealings - Tomperc 02:40, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Junior club

[edit]

Anon user has added Bexley North as a junior club. This was taken out the first time as it couldn't be verified, but is back in again. I'm leaving it there for now, but it needs a reference and years and preferably worked into the article. - Tomperc 02:40, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Now taken out as unreferenced - Tomperc 03:06, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mark Rudan himself has informed us that his first soccer was played at Bexley North. Please contact the club to verify should you have any questions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.239.52.2 (talk) 20:06, 6 August 2007

I'm sure he did play for Bexley when he was 10, but as noted above it needs a source to be included in the article (especially for a biography article). The article could be really improved by including a paragraph about his younger years including who he played for, where he went to school, what his parents did for a living, etc - but if only if it can be verified (such as for Shaun Ontong where his junior club has an article on its website). Find an interview, newsletter article, website reference or anything to back it up and provide a link/scan/reference, and it can stay. - Tomperc 23:04, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please contact the club www.bexleynorthfc.com.au. I would be happy to email some info to you. Cheers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.135.6.132 (talk) 14:49, 8 August 2007

Its not just for my sake, its for everyone. If the info is published somewhere on the website or somewhere else then it would probably meet wikipedia standards as a verifiable source. Maybe an article in the club newsletter would cover it (if you've got some influence there, that could be a good idea anyway - 'Former Bomber Mark Rudan now playing for Sydney FC' - could encourage more members to get out and support the A-League). If you've got some info maybe post it here for everyone. (By the way, don't forget to sign your posts by typing four tildes at the end, which will convert automatically to a name-date stamp) - Tomperc 12:59, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The story is in the clubs newsletter which can be found on the clubs website. We are moving away from using association pages and setting up our own site. It will appear then. Cheers. I don't have an id, so can't leave it. 220.239.52.2 07:47, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mark Rudans photo now appears on the temporary club website.122.106.139.20 (talk) 12:43, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Someone moved Bexley North FC and substituted Hurstville - this has been removed as it is inaccurate and Bexley North FC reinstated Mark's photo and details are on the Club website http://www.bexleynorthfc.com.au/about.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.135.6.132 (talk) 11:44, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

FC Vaduz stats

[edit]

I can't for the life of me find the complete stats for Mark Rudan during his time in the Swiss League as a squad member of FC Vaduz. ~ RedsUnited (talk) 09:30, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
