A/VCDS during investigation
[edit]During the investigation of VAdm Norman, and before the full time appointment of a new VCDS, no one who is acting as VCDS in a temporary capacity should be listed as the "succeeded by" in the military offices template. Acting appointments happen on an extremely regular basis within the CAF, and are not recognized as a person "taking over" a position. This case just happens to be in the glaring spotlight so everyone knows about it.
WP:BOLD. I'm changing the Military Office template to reflect the actual position of VCDS. Until he is replaced by someone on a permanent basis he has not been officially succeeded by anyone and could be returned to his duties.
