Anti-Armenian?
[edit]Why article shows him as Anti-Armenian? He wrote many things about Anatolian and Near Eastern people:
"Those who know these people out here best know full well that the Armenians, Greeks and Turks are all tarred with the same brush. It was simply that the Turks had the advantage of the position and full swing to their beastly desires. The massacre of Kurds and Turks by the Armenians during this war when they got their chance, and the things that have been happening in Smyrna and the surrounding districts simply go to show what I have stated above."
"I have often said to you, these races in the Near East are all very much the same, and if you put them all in a bag and shake them up you would not know which one would come out first."
"I hold no brief for any race in this part of the country. They all need universal education and modern civilization. The future peace of the world depends upon these races getting the benefits of modern development." --88.235.131.65 (talk) 22:36, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
Changes made on August 10, 2011 by User:Unodante
[edit]The changes made by User:Unodante on August 10, 2011 ([1]), contribute nothing to the article's content. They are highly subjective and they blatantly violate WP:NPV. Instead of documenting Mark Bristol's life and deeds in a neutral manner, his character and views are criticized and assasinated based on a single reference written by an Armenian author. After this one contribution by just one Wikipedia user, all of a sudden, the article reads like a personal critique of a distinguished United States official. There is no more any semblance of neutrality left. There is increadibly judgemental language in the article and there is undue prominence given to Mark Bristol's views on Armenians. Admiral Bristol was not present in Turkey in 1915. He had no firsthand knowledge of the events of 1915. His Turkish counterparts in 1919 were not responsible for those events either. This contribution should be removed or completely re-written.
